Fire Re-Build

Project Summary

A 200,000 SF building was severely damaged by fire. The combined effects of fire, heat, smoke, and extensive water damage from both the sprinkler system and fire department efforts led to significant destruction of the main building. This includes damage to tipping, transfer, recycling, and MRF processing equipment.

The building structure and interiors were damaged, requiring repair and replacement of structural components, roof and wall cladding, and interior finishes.

In addition to structural damage, the electrical and fire protection systems were extensively compromised and will require complete replacement. Processing equipment that we supported with foundations, electrical systems, and fire protection systems was also damaged.

The following departments collaborated on the design and rebuilding of the facility, with JRMA assisting throughout the permitting process:
Building and Safety | Planning Department | Fire Department | Public Works | LEA | AQMD
